“Hello” could be the start of something new and great. It could be as simple as saying it to someone in order make a new friend or use it as a metaphor to open up to a certain opportunity. It’s a word that is positive in all aspects.

Now, it may seem crazy for me to write a whole blog about a single word, and to be honest, it kind of is. It’s okay, though, because this post is very relatable and I write about relatable things, hence the name of my blog.

Without saying the word “hello” to my current friends, I would not know them at all today. It’s kind of crazy that one word can turn to strangers into best friends. It’s that word that broke the ice between a stranger and I.

If I had never “said hello” to choir, I wouldn’t be who I am today. Making the decision to go into show choir was one of the best decisions in my life. I would not be the same without it.

You should never shy away from trying something new or meeting someone new. If you fall back down, get right back up again and try something else until you find what fits you the best.

Always say hello when you see someone new in your classroom, at your church, or anywhere else you like to mingle.

And most of all, always “say hello” to new opportunities.

You can never get anywhere without trying.

Believe me, it’s worth it.
