First off, I hate when people say “new year new me”, I’m just putting it as my title to be relatable.

I’m hoping for good things in 2019. I have had a pretty good start to the year and I’m actually very excited for what this year has to bring. I’m going to be entering into my second show choir competition season very soon, I’m going to get my drivers license next month, and I’m turning 18 this year.

There are going to be many things coming my way. I have to start applying for colleges, taking the SAT/ACT, and scheduling college visits. It’s scary growing up, but I’m more than ready at the same time.

I’m hoping to improve myself overall. I want to figure out what I want to to after high school, and just go for it. I don’t want to keep myself on the ground anymore. I want to go out to do new things, see new places, and meet new people. I’m just being basic now, but that’s okay.

2018 wasn’t my best year, so I’m hoping 2019 will make up for it. I know it will as long as I go along with a positive outlook on life. I’m being basic again. Oops.

What can I say? Being basic is relatable.
